After an impressive Euro 2020 performance, England Forward, Harry Kane has failed to show up at Tottenhams’ pre-season training ground.
Kane’s absence and failure to join his other teammates after his summer holiday on Monday means that the rumour of his possible exit from his childhood might come to reality soon.
The 28-year-old has been on Manchester City’s radar since the transfer window opened but the Citizens are yet to make an official offer for the Euro 2020 finalist.
According to Goal, Man City are willing to splash at least £100 million to bring the EPL last season’s top scorer to the Etihad this season but his contract with Spurs does not expire until 2024.
With him still having some years left on his contract, Tottenham might be reluctant in selling him this season.
However, it was also gathered that the player reached a “gentleman’s agreement” with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy last year which allows him to move on pastures new this summer.
Harry Kane is Tottenhams’ top goal scorer for the past seven seasons and he is currently the club’s second all-time top-scorers with 221 goals.
