European Champion, Chelsea FC has been rumoured to be in search of a top striker since the transfer market opened and has been linked to goal poachers such as Robert Lewandowski and Erling Haaland.
The latest target for the Blues according to reports is the former blue’s star, Romelu Lukaku but it was gathered that the Italian Serie A champions are not willing to sell.
The Blues made an £85m bid plus Marcos Alonso for the Belgium international but the offer was rejected.
Lukaku helped Inter Milan win their first Scudetto since 2010 and seem very happy at the club.
Although, Inter need to reduce their wage bill this summer but are not ready to sell their talisman at the current asking price.
Chelsea has also attempted to get Haaland and Lewandowski due to the too impressive performance from Timo Werner last season.
However, Chelsea still has Tammy Abraham who has been on Arsenal’s radar but Coach Thomas Tuchel will hope to have a world-class scorer in the team to guaranty a fight for the EPL title this season.
